I personally perform the entire spectrum of geological exploration work, involving my team of proven specialists in each project. As a recognized geologist in the industry, I am responsible for quality, accuracy, and a professional approach at all stages – from planning to preparation of reporting documentation.

COMPOSITION OF GEOLOGICAL EXPLORATION WORKS AND WHAT WILL BE OBTAINED AS A RESULT OF THEIR CARRYING OUT:

1. PRELIMINARY STAGE (REMOTE RESEARCH) – DURATION UP TO 2 WEEKS

Preliminary (pre-field) study of the Concession territory is necessary to select the most promising license areas of a small (1-5 km2) area (interpretation of satellite images, geomorphological, tectonic and other types of modeling).

The set of methods and types of work includes:

  • Preliminary interpretation of satellite images and comprehensive analysis of space imagery materials (the latest data from METI and NASA radar surveys: ASTER Global Digital Elevation Model Version 2, the latest data from 1-3 second radar surveys of the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM); high- and medium-resolution multi-zone satellite images of Landsat ETM). As a result, areas of distribution of ore stockworks or calderas with a concentration of kimberlite pipes and dikes will be localized.
  • Geomorphological and neotectonic modeling.
  • Purchase and interpretation of high-resolution space images.
  • Creation and interpretation of SRTM models.

 

As a result, the most probable locations of highly productive ore geological structures of a small area (gold ore and other stockworks and individual quartz veins, ore alteration zones, etc.) will be localized. The report will provide a detailed description of all promising areas of localization of caldera-type ring structures, gold ore and other stockworks so that at the stage of field work (Site Visit) it would be clear where exactly it is necessary to start carrying out work.

As a result of these works, we will understand which of the allocated small areas are the first priority for study and obtaining the first practical results.

Without this, the work would be meaningless, would take a lot of time, would not provide a guarantee of positive results and would lead to unjustified financial costs.

2. STAGE 1. FIELD GEOLOGICAL AND GEOPHYSICAL WORK WITHIN THE IDENTIFIED AREAS (LASTING ABOUT 2 MONTHS) 

Field geological and geophysical work within 3 identified areas (minimum). Trenching, sampling and continuation of field work.

The tasks are carried out within the framework of the following types of geological exploration work (each of these types can be an independent study with a report upon its completion):

  • Test study of areas of the most probable location of ore geological structures using geological methods
    -GPR survey in the air variant
    -Magnetometric survey in the air variant
  • Construction of magnetic field profiles and GPR survey
  • Detailed study of objects of exploration interest, construction of maps of geophysical fields and 3D models of the structure of all (or the best) identified objects (sections, maps, interpretation of fields and profiles)
  • Establishment of the entire spectrum of types of mineral raw materials and expected geological and industrial types of deposits (without which the size and parameters of the future deposit, content will not be clear)

3. STAGE. MAIN GEOLOGICAL AND GEOPHYSICAL WORKS WITHIN THE IDENTIFIED AREAS 

Field geological and geophysical works within the identified areas:

  • Trenching, sampling, analytical studies, processing of field data and continuation of field works to identify local mining sites (areas already identified at this stage). Preparation of planned areas for mining after obtaining a mining license.
  • Study of areas of the most probable location of ore geological structures (stockworks, mineralization zones, dikes and veins using geophysical and geological methods;
    -GPR survey in the airborne variant;
    -Magnetometric survey in the airborne variant;
  • Drilling wells (to obtain intersections for testing);
  • Trenching, sampling and continuation of field work (for testing);
  • Surface and underground mapping
  • Creation of a detailed mining and geological database (can be used in Micromine, K-mine … software, which are used to model geological structures and mine workings during the operation of identified deposits);
  • Spectral quantitative and semi-quantitative analyses in a stationary laboratory and field spectrometric (RFA) studies using a mobile spectrometer NITONXL2 GOLDD, Elvatech, Olympus, Niton…;
  • Mineralogical analysis;
  • Chemical analysis;
  • Analysis for Au by weight, assay in combination with ICP-MS and its other modifications;
  • Electron microscopy (obtaining data for developing an optimal ore enrichment scheme);
  • Microprobe analysis (to understand the chemical composition of the main useful mineral and the presence of impurity elements in it);
  • Petrographic study of crystalline and sedimentary rocks;
  • Mineragraphic study to select an ore enrichment technology;
  • Thermobaric geochemical study of fluid inclusions in minerals (if necessary); Dating of crystalline rocks by U-Pb (zircon, monazite) and Sm-Nd methods (if necessary to establish the age of rocks and mineralization and compare with known deposits).

4. REPORTING STAGE

  • Traditional internal report (upon the Customer’s request – free of charge)
  • Reporting by qualified/competent persons on all major reporting codes (JORC, NI-43- 101, SAMREC, PERC, CIM) – if necessary. Development of reserve models in identified deposits. Construction of geological models and reserve assessment. Determination of economic reserves (in case of sale of sites to third companies/persons)

 

The report will be prepared in accordance with one of the international reporting codes (NI 43-101 or others) at the Customer’s request.

5. SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR A MINING LICENSE 

based on the geological, geophysical, analytical work carried out and the results of their interpretation to understand the resource potential and methods of mining and extracting minerals.

6. STAGE OF SUPPORT OF MINING OPERATIONS AT THE DEPOSIT 

After filing an application and receiving a mining license and starting mining operations – permanent support of the operations by geological personnel (mining support).

Prompt adjustment of the spatial position and tracking of ore zones along the strike.

Typification of ore bodies for separate extraction during mining due to differences in their enrichment technology.
